Breast Feeding Kids
in Puberty

Let me start off by saying that I have absolutely no problem with breast feeding
a baby...get it??? Baby!! I of course am incensed by an article I saw on the
local news last night about mothers still breast feeding children as old as 6
years.
When do you draw the line? I have a six year old and an eight year old and could
not possibly imagine them attached to my breast at this age. I didn't breast
feed because my children chose not to take it. I also chose not to force them
because I knew that formula was just as healthy as breast milk.
The excuse that I heard every woman, in this article, used was that the child
still needed it and wanted it. It is such great bonding.... Excuse me...does
your husband get the same breast bonding that your school age child gets? A four
year old was asked why she still liked to breast feed, she stated, "It's so
sweet tasting and yummy." After I regurgitated my dinner I returned to the
television to find a mother stating that she would breast feed her kid all the
way up until the age of ten, if that's what her child wanted. Mother or
pedophile????
One mother stated that she was mortified that her pediatrician had even told her
that once a child can unbutton your shirt, it's too old to breast feed. She and
her idiot husband agreed that the child really needed the bonding with Mommy.
Really? Is the child sucking daddy's penis to bond with him too? When does it
become detrimental to the child? Does this child have to leave school for lunch
to breast feed or does mommy pump him a bottle? When does the child announce to
their classmates that they are still in the habit of sucking mommy's nipple,
while the other children are drinking Sprite?
At what age does it become abnormal to still be sucking mommy's tit? Breast milk
is for growing infants. Both my kids were off the bottle by one. Why? Because
they found a cup less constraining when trying to throw their milk on the
kitchen walls. I can handle bottle or breast feeding up until about the age of
two. When your kid actually speaks, uses a toilet, rides the dog, walks, can
feed itself and bite....it's pretty much time to pry the nipple from their lips.
When does it become sexual abuse? After the age of two. I think Mommy is
enjoying the sucking way to much and if daddy is allowing this then he had
better be sucking someone else's tits instead of the pedophile he's married to.
There are some smart fathers who are suing for divorce and are trying to file
charges against the mothers of their children because even they realize that
they married a sick crack head. Some men actually realize that at some point
their wife needs a straight jacket and they are jeopardizing the child's chances
of becoming an adult. Will mommy be making trips to college to breast feed? Is
my wife a cow? Should I bring in some calves to keep the milk supply up for our
25 year old kid? If I video tape her, is that considered child pornography?
I am appalled that these unbalanced women think that their child isn't ready for
a tippy cup at six years old. This society is raising undisciplined, overly
pampered, sheltered brats. Just think...this is the future of America.
Is President Bush still breast feeding??

You're absolutely right. Dad has had to wait long enough by the time the baby is
a year old. Let him have some fun. I really don't think most women realize how
many dads would love to be in the babys place.

if a woman wants to breast feed her 8 year old, it is her business and
his. what people do in the privacy of their own home is none of your
business. there are 4 simple words that i live by, "my body, my business"
and that is all inclusive. anyone who supports abortion rights, which i
do, or the right to use drugs, or alcohol, cigarettes, etc, knows what i
mean. mind your own business and stay out of others you puritanical cunt.

K-Says...You might want to let your child practice your
motto of "my body,
my business". Your child only knows what you have taught him/her and what
your lesson is, is that "his/her parents are pedophiles". When a child,
senior citizen, battered wife or an animal are being abused in the
"privacy of their own home" then it not only becomes everyone's business,
it becomes the authorities business too.
P.S. Thanks for the new name! I've never been called a puritanical cunt
before and I'm feeling pretty special right now! Your brain must have
really hurt after digging for that...did you need a nap afterwards?
Ouch!, my apologies for the name calling. i don't approve
of spousal or
animal abuse and i do not have children. but, i don't see anything wrong
with sucking on moms titties or sis or any nice tittie around, as long as
everyone is happy. and no, i don't live in west virginia, hee hee!

really....ANYONE??!!

K,
I was forwarded the link to your breast feeding rant (of which I am in
110% agreement with your every point) as a list-serve I am a member of was
discussing the same article you were referring to. That list-serve
happens to be a family law attorney list in Washington State. I am a
divorce atty and have been for 10 years.
I was intrigued by your article and noticed the "Home" button. I clicked
and was directed (of course) to your home-page, whereupon I noticed your
article entitled "Divorce Sucks" and, thought I would read an article
about your divorce in the same caustic/funny/boiled-down-to-its-essentials
manner. What I read was a beautiful story of the "perfect" divorce. I
was surprised that you could feel that divorce sucks when you went through
the "idyllic" divorce. (Granted I know even the most idyllic divorce is
emotionally draining, etc. but, it can often *REALLY* suck.)
I tend to specialize in the cases of physical and sexual abuse of the
spouse and/or child(ren). You want stories about divorces that Suck, try
writing about a case where the wife is beaten into a coma because she was
20 minutes later than anticipated from an errand (hey, plenty of time to
have had an affair) or the child that is repeatedly raped by a
parent/step-parent.
Anyway, I thought I'd write with my thoughts for some perspective.

p.s. Congratulations on beating the cancer. I wish you well.
